- In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, and minced cornichons and set aside. Coat a skillet with cooking spray and sauté onions over medium heat 1 minute. Cover and cook on low 5 more minutes, add sauerkraut and warm for 1 minute, then turn off heat.
- Assemble the sandwich: Brush dressing on both slices of bread, layer turkey on bottom, then sauerkraut and onions, then cheese. Coat another skillet with cooking spray; heat over a medium flame. Reduce heat to medium-low and panfry sandwich on both sides, 3 to 4 minutes.
