Antibiotics and a poor diet can destroy good bacteria, triggering stomach troubles and yeast infections.
1 of 6 | Avoid sugar
Yeast is an opportunistic organism that feeds on excess sugars. Too much sugar can be enough to cause a yeast infection; eliminating it from your diet can sometimes be enough to kill it.
To cut off yeast's food supply, cut down on sugar and simple carbohydrates. Avoid soft drinks, candy, cookies, juices, most fruit (except berries, avocado, and lemon), dairy (except yogurt), starches, refined flour products, and alcohol.
