Summer afternoons are meant for sitting on the porch sipping lemonade. But at nearly 30 grams of sugar per cup, this sweet-and-sour treat needs a healthy update. In Chakra Tonics, yoga teacher Elise Marie Collins stirs up 52 smoothies, teas, and other concoctions to revitalize the body and nourish the spirit. Her Meditation Lemonade, said to unwind the mind by stimulating the brow chakra, gets its thirst-quenching succulence from antioxidant-rich watermelon and calming lemongrass tea. Awaken your third eye with this enlightened recipe.

Meditation Lemonade
4 cups lemongrass tea
4 cups watermelon chunks juice of 5 lemons
2-4 tablespoons agave nectar (or 1 tablespoon stevia) to taste
Prepare the tea using 4 lemongrass tea bags and 4 cups boiling water. Allow tea to cool. Blend with remaining ingredients until smooth, and enjoy.
