You can earn double do-gooder points getting your buzz on at Starbucks. Along with your venti cup of fair-trade coffee, pick up a bottle of Ethos Water. Recently acquired by Starbucks, Ethos works with humanitarian groups such as Water Partners International and CARE International to provide clean water to communities in developing nations around the world. Current projects include building rainwater- harvesting systems to benefit more than 21,000 residents of Bangladesh, and partnering with UNICEF to bring water to 1,200 children living in homeless shelters in Kenya. Five cents for every bottle of Ethos sold goes toward Starbucks' goal of donating $10 million over the next five years to support water projects in Honduras, Ethiopia, and other countries.
