Stand with your feet about 5 inches apart, toes pointing forward, palms together in front of your heart, head in line with your spine. Close your eyes and listen to your heart beating and your breath moving in and out of your body. Notice how the force of the air causes your body to sway gently. We naturally find ways to balance and accommodate the movement of the earth beneath us. Standing still reminds us of our inherent knack for finding stability within any situation. Breathing through your nostrils, inhale for 5 counts and exhale for 5 counts. Repeat 10 times.
