Standing in Mountain pose, place your palms together at your breastbone and step back with your left foot. Keep the left heel lifted and bend the right knee to align over the right ankle. Inhale, lifting both arms overhead. Stabilize in the pose, rooting your feet and grounding through the strength of your legs. Keeping palms together, exhale and lower your arms to place the left elbow on the outside of your right thigh. Inhale, then exhale and rotate into a twist, looking over your right shoulder. Stay here for 3 to 5 breaths, then inhale and untwist so the torso is centered, bringing the palms to the breastbone. Step back to start position and repeat on the opposite side.
