Sit up straight in the middle of your mat pressing both sit bones down to the floor and extend your left leg straight, flexing your toes. Bend your right knee, bringing your right heel in toward your groin, and place your right palm (or fingertips) on the floor just behind your tailbone. Bring left elbow around right knee, twisting at midback and raise left hand to the sky. Inhale deeply to elongate the spine and look over right shoulder. On each exhale, twist deeper, keeping your shoulders back and down and your spine straight. Hold the pose for 1 minute, switch legs (and switch sides) and repeat.
