Stretch to prevent backache

To relax your shoulders and spine and stave off back pain, try this simple stretch: Get down on your hands and knees with your hands under your shoulders and your knees under your hips and your palms pressed firmly into the ground or a yoga mat. Lift your chin, gaze forward, and arch your lower back. Then round your upper back, drop your chin toward your chest, and lower your buttocks onto your heels. Hold for five counts and breathe deeply.
