Editor's Pick: Boatneck Bird Tee
This chic shirt makes hemp look hip.

In the years I've been covering eco–fashion, green clothing has become far more fashionable, especially garments made from hemp—a durable, linen–like fabric with natural antibacterial and UV–blocking properties. A few years ago, a Google search for "hemp clothing" yielded unflattering drawstring pants and frumpy undyed tunics. Today, hip green designers use the material in everything from tote bags to wedding gowns. My new favorite is this clever boatneck bird tee ($72; funkdivine.etsy.com) by San Francisco label Funk Divine, which features a bold red–and–gold bird print inspired by ancient Egyptian jewelry. Comfortable and unconventional, it's destined to become a wardrobe staple—and a conversation piece.
