A potent mineral tonic with a flavor reminiscent of balsamic vinegar. Use this method to make other herb vinegars.
Raw fresh nettles chopped fine
Raw apple cider vinegar
Glass jar with plastic or glass cap—NOT metal!
1. Fill jar ¾ full with minced nettles.
2. Cover and fill jar to top with vinegar.
3. Use a chopstick to help release any trapped bubbles and cap jar.
4. Let sit room temperature for 6 weeks (or more).
5. Strain and store in vinegar bottle with plastic top.
